Digital Camera Pouch for HDR-CX7... Fits perfectly!

The HDR-CX7 camcorder is so little, that it fits prfectly in a digital camera pouch.
The poking out pocket is where the remote control for CX7 is. Plus I put there another 4GB MS Pro Duo.

You can download the AVCHD file from here: http://www.sulimoff.com/media/20070825201440.m2ts

Sunset, Great Colors!

Once more you can see that colors are as natural as they are in real life! All on AUTO

Another WIDE still image...

It's 7 am in the morning here, in Florida, so it's still a bit dark on a tennis court surrounded by trees and darkened fence.

Super Night Shot Footage...Complete Darkness...

Here is the footage taken in a Laser Shooting Room. Super Night Shot feature is very useful and, as usually, makes SONY on top of competitors, who lack this rare but sometimes very useful function in their cams. Look for yourself!

More footage is coming...

I will add more footage soon, got some NightShot footage too. Keep in touch!

Wonna Rollercoaster Ride?

This is a short clip of a rollercoaster ride...Sorry, my hands were a little shaky!

Rolling Swing...Watch - you will love it!!!

As promised, here is my latest footage. Please, download here: http://www.sulimoff.com/swing1.m2t
HDR-CX7 handles the speed brilliant, colors are perfect. Please don't think it's blurry if you watch on your computer screen. Most computers won't be able to show it fast. Try to watch it on a huge TV. You will be really excited to see how great it is, watching it on your HDTV.

More footage coming

I will post more footage later today. Thank you all for coming!

Another fast moving objects Sample

Here you can see the typical fast moving objects sample footage, one of the favorites to see the quality of video encoding. HDR-CX7 does it GREAT again! Just look at the details! NO ARTIFACTS spotted here! COLORS are just Great and really exceed the HC7 color output! Enjoy!

Smooth Slow Recording sample

Here is the sample of the Smooth Slow Recording footage. Have a look as it is interesting addition to camcorder. Even you can't say about the video quality here, but this might be very useful in some situations.

NO ARTIFACTS!!!

On this clip you can see that there is NO artifacts on fast moving objects footage in full 1080 HD. This looks really brilliant. I post two video clips as demanded one is 1080 HD and another is downconverted to 720 HD. Enjoy!

Another sample footage...

Here is another footage of HDR-CX7... Unfortunately, it's of car accident and more - THIS happened on a quite road with 30 speed limit. It's good that no one seriously hurt.

Have a look at the footage. CX7 performs well.

Low Light TEST of CX7 shows GREAT results!

Please download this file to have a look at HDR-CX7 low light footage. I have made the same for HC7 before but unfortunately the footage lost somewhere. Please check if you have downloaded that footage and compare with this one. You will be surprised how GOOD this (HDR-CX7) baby performs against HDV HDR-HC7.
All set on AUTO, including white balance.

Link is here: http://www.sulimoff.com/cx7lltest1.m2t

I have transcoded the .m2ts AVCHD into .m2t HDV for you to be able to look at it without downloading AVC codecs. The quality will not become lower.

Sample Still Pictures

Bookshop..taken with medium Flash

Sample Still Pictures

It's cloudy today, just after rain... Wide Sample - push the picture to look detailed.

My first video samples...

Here are my first video samples. I have transcoded them for you into M2T format as AVC-codec is not installed on all the PC's around and you will just need to open the downloaded file in WMP or any similar player. Make sure it's adjusted for interlaced video play. You can download videos from here:

Cloudy day: http://www.sulimoff.com/fount1.m2t

Lower Light: http://www.sulimoff.com/dnll1.m2t

All I can say - HDR-CX7 is better in terms of video against HDR-HC7 and HDR-UX7, I have previously owned. Well improved ClearVid CMOS in terms of low light and well improved AVCHD-coding as you can't see any artifacts on fast moving objects like we have seen on previous AVCHD models. Also, the SUPER STEADY SHOT has improved a lot. Enjoy!
I will post more Videos later with Real Low Light! Be in touch!

Docking Station with HDR-CX7

New HDR-CX7 comes with Docking Station supplied in a package. It has some useful outputs/inputs which could not be installed to the camcorder itself due to it's portability. Also, it sports a DISC BURN button to copy the image from Memory stick straight to DVD-media. Among those outputs/inputs on docking station are analogue A/V-out, digital Component-out, USB-in/out and DC-In. Docking station looks very stylish as most of SONY products, especially when they are made in Black.
